Avocado toast

Avocado toast is a simple and delicious breakfast or snack that can be made in just a few minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 2 slices of bread

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional toppings: sliced cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, red pepper flakes, cilantro, etc.


Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until it's mostly smooth but still a little chunky.

  2. Toast the bread until it's golden brown and crispy.

  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toast.

  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the avocado to taste.

  5. Add any desired toppings, such as sliced cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, red pepper flakes, or cilantro.
